{"id":21356,"date":"2025-04-15T09:34:27","date_gmt":"2025-04-15T09:34:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wtpf.itu.int\/2026\/?page_id=21356"},"modified":"2026-07-30T16:30:00","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T16:30:00","slug":"draft-opinions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wtpf.itu.int\/2026\/documents\/draft-opinions\/","title":{"rendered":"Draft Opinions"},"content":{"rendered":"    <div class=\"ituContainer grid\">\n        <div data-span=\"12\">\n                                <div class=\"ituContainer grid\">\n                        <div data-span=\"8\">\n                    <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/en\/council\/Pages\/ieg-wtpf-26.aspx\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">intensive preparatory process<\/a> involving expert representatives from&nbsp; ITU membership across governments, regulators, the private sector, academia and civil society to develop draft &#8220;Opinions&#8221; in a variety of areas related to the theme of WTPF-26* ran from October 2024 to April 2026. This process resulted in the adoption of five draft Opinions, which will form the basis of discussions at the WTPF-26, along with the Secretary-General&#8217;s Report.<\/p>\n<\/div>                    <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div>                    <div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once agreed and finalized at the Forum, these non-prescriptive Opinions will offer guidance to ITU membership, through ongoing efforts within ITU and at a broader international level.
